WhimsyWare ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Blockers mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that data.

Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide and improve your experience. The following is an exhaustive list of data collected by the App:

  • Gameplay Data: Scores, round statistics, tool selections, and game settings. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Game Center Data: If you opt in to Apple Game Center, we receive your Game Center display name (alias) and player identifier to display leaderboard rankings and achievements. This data is provided by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Crash & Diagnostics Data: Device model, iOS version, and crash logs may be collected automatically by Apple through its standard diagnostics framework. We do not operate our own crash reporting service.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.
  • We do not collect or track your location.
  • We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
  • We do not display ads or share data with advertisers.
  • We do not collect any data beyond what is listed in the section above.

In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, billing details, or Apple ID credentials. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage & Retention

  • Local Data: All gameplay progress and settings are stored on your device. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.
  • Game Center Data: Leaderboard scores and achievements submitted to Game Center are retained by Apple on their servers. To manage or delete this data, visit your Apple ID account settings or contact Apple directly.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. The only data that leaves your device is leaderboard and achievement data sent to Apple Game Center when you have opted in to that service.

Children's Privacy

Blockers is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Game Center has its own age restrictions as defined by Apple.

Your Rights

Since we do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. For data held by Apple (Game Center, diagnostics), please refer to Apple's Data and Privacy portal.

Privacy Manifest

In accordance with Apple's requirements, the App includes a PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest that declares all API usage reasons and data collection practices. The declarations in that manifest are consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" and "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
